I love your sponge for the absorbent mind!

Loved this, especially the part about toddlers being a ‘small weather system.’ That’s exactly what it feels like at home with my two-year-old 😅 I’m not a full Montessori parent, but I’ve found that giving him real tasks (even if it’s just pouring water or wiping spills) works like magic. Thank you for the reminder that it doesn’t have to be perfect, just consistent and respectful.

This reads like exhale.

Toddlerhood does feel like a weather system — and I so appreciate the way this reframes the storm, not as something to fear, but as part of a season where growth is already blooming.

So many gems here, but this line stopped me:

“Right now my child is showing me what they need to practice.”

That simple shift — from fixing to understanding — can change the whole atmosphere of a home.

Thank you for the practical wisdom, the calm cadence, and the reminder that we’re not raising robots — we’re guiding real people in progress. 🤍

Thank you, Anna. I am glad it resonates.

The shift is simple but strong. Harder in daily practice.... but their actions are purposeful even if the reason is not clear right away. Thats why Observation is so important in Montessori
